Het is dan ook geen wonder dat zelfligerende bracketsystemen de laatste jaren steeds populairder zijn geworden; deze systemen bieden flexibiliteit voor zowel behandelaar als ook voor patiënten. Het is echter wel belangrijk op te merken dat niet alle zelfligerende bracketsystemen gelijk in kwaliteit zijn. Zo zijn bijvoorbeeld brackets met standaard chroomkobalt C-clips gevoelig voor vervorming en kunnen brackets met starre klepjes draadvervorming veroorzaken. Dit kan vervolgens leiden tot complicaties bij de behandeling en daarmee ontevreden patiënten. Beide versies van Lotus Plus DS gebruiken flexibele maar toch veerkrachtige tabs die ontworpen zijn om wrijving te verminderen en goed bestand zijn tegen het herhaald openen. De interactieve clip is ontworpen voor vroegtijdige behandeling met de draden en is bestand tegen vervorming in tegenstelling tot de  standaard C-clips. De passieve versie heeft een vlakke klep met afzonderlijke tabs ter voorkoming van vervorming in de gebogen draad en heeft een verbeterde rotatieregeling. Of u nu een interactief, passief of hybride systeem gebruikt, het resultaat is een tevreden ervaring voor u en uw patiënten. ###### Eenvoudige plaatsing en toegang De Lotus Plus DS bracket biedt een nauwkeurige pasvorm voor elk element en heeft een speciale contour met specifieke uitstulpingen voor extra retentie.
